Who is Tom Dufferin, and what do you think is his opinion about kids? Use details from the book to support your answer.
Tom Dufferin likes money and valuables more than two little children. He says "this is not a toy store". He thinks the children are unrefined.

Natalie, Kaylynn, and Daniel,
Good use of the word "unrefined!" I also like how you used a quote from the story that supports your answer. Do you think Tom really doesn't like kids, or that he was too busy to deal with Griffin and Ben?
